Packaging

We package our items in recyclable carboard boxes and the tape we used is 100% recyclable too! Not only does sustainable packaging reduce plastic waste, but it can also prevent other pollutants from entering the atmosphere. It typically involves using materials such as paper, cardboard. Recyclable and compostable packaging won't end up in landfill, but instead will break down naturally and not contribute to global warming.

We do use a small amount of plastic packaging for our items in the boxes but are working towards reducing our carbon footprint as a business. We've still got some way to go but we are working hard and we're on the right track!

It has, however, since become clear that sitting for long periods on non-ergonomic industrial chairs quickly leads to damaged posture and lower productivity. It is therefore vital to select the correct seating for the job and workplace environment.

Industrial companies who are prepared to invest in appropriate chairs are also investing in the health and wellbeing of their employees. This in turn helps to maintain or even improve production efficiency. As size, weight and other characteristics generally differ from person to person, an industrial chair with ergonomic setting options should almost be a matter of course.

With many chairs and draughtsman chairs, there are many options available, including seat and back position adjustment, footrings, height adjustment and lumbar supports.

There are various industrial seating solutions available including stools, chairs or standing aids, In many companies, the trend is clearly for height-adjustable work surfaces or, basically, working standing up. Lab Space Polyurethane Industrial Draughtsman Chair

A hard wearing industrial chair with chrome base, gas lift and adjustable footring. This chair is wipe clean and can even be steam cleaned when used in dirty factory or industrial areas.

With a maximum seat height of 820mm and adjustable footring, this chair is ideal for high bench work areas including packing benches and lab benches amongst many other environments.

ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) or anti-static chairs are specially designed for areas that require minimal static build up such as micro-tech areas and sensitive laboratory environments. ESD chairs are upholstered in a Hi-Tech antistatic fabric or a Medistat antistatic vinyl. These materials are highly conductive which allows and static to quickly ground itself through the chair preventing static build up.

ESD Anti-Static chairs available as a tall draughtsman chair or low operator/office style chair. Available in fabric or vinyl and with a range of options available. Polyurethane industrial chairs, the perfect factory chair solution for most factory environments. Hard wearing, wipeable and can be steam cleaned. The seat and back are made with a cushioned polyurethane giving some comfort to the user rather than a solid plastic seat which can become uncomfortable after a short time.

2 Ranges are available, standard or deluxe. The deluxe has a different styling and offers a larger seat and back. Both ranges are available as either a polyurethane draughtsman chair or a low factory chair, all with optional extras. These include a seat tilt (allowing the seat to tilt forwards, ideal for using over a high or low bench where the user is constantly leaning forwards). Fixed and adjustable arms which can also be retro fitted if needs be or removed after fitting if not required. A range of glides and castors are available offering options for glides, standard castors, soft edge castors and brake loaded castors, or a combination of these depending on the use of the chair and the type of floor it is used. Soft edge castors are ideal for hard floors to help prevent the chair from slipping or damaging the floor. Different sized gas lifts are also available to get that perfect seat height for its intended use.
