Some people say, “What you don’t know won’t hurt you.” So I’m asking, “How many plants do you know eat flesh?”

I’m about to make some folks mad. But, I’m going to share something with you that I shared with a friend today. He asked me if it was difficult not eating meat. So I simply told him, no. I went on to say, “This morning you got up and took a shower, right? Well I didn’t. And this morning we both got in your truck to pick up supplies. Did you notice any smell coming from me?” He smiled and said, “No.” I said, “Well I haven’t used deodorant for about two weeks, and when I do it’s only when I dress nice for a little fragrance.”

When God placed man in the garden of Eden, in the bible, they’re no living things eating another living thing with a heart. I’m just saying! Something about eating something dead just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ll just say it. “If you want to stop cancer, heart disease, gout, inflammation, start there.”

Genesis 2:15-17. 15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Yes, the bible is clear the man Adam was not to eat a plant species, and he did. However, look what the Almighty God does to him after he’s eaten the forbidden fruit.

Genesis 3:21-23. The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” 23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

Notice, Almighty God took skin from something and clothed Adam and his wife. Not what Adam and his wife wanted. What did they cloth themselves with?

Genesis 3:7. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Adam and his wife had to be more plant life specie than animal life species while living in the garden. The man and his wife didn’t chose skin; they chose fig leaves to cover themselves. So I ask, “How many plants do you know eat flesh?”
